Jeffrey Hallin has extensive experience in the financial services industry as a Financial Planner, Insurance Agent, Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative.
He specializes in Retirement Planning, Estate Planning, Charitable Giving, and senior issues such as Long Term Care. He offers services for individuals, business owners, executives, employees and retirees.
Jeff is a Southern California native who attended the University of Southern California before earning his degree in computer science from the U.S. Naval Academy.
Upon graduating from the Academy in 1983 with a B.S. degree in Computer Science, he served as an officer in the Marine Corps in various positions in the computer field, as a Company Commander, and as an Assistant Operations Officer in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm. Jeff attained the rank of Major in the Marine Corps Reserve and retired in 2006.
A graduate of Leadership Tomorrow, Jeff is very active in his community. The Leadership Tomorrow program educates people in how to become leaders in their community and government. Jeff's past leadership positions have included: the Board of Managers of the Central Orange Coast YMCA, the Board of Directors of the Corona del Mar Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Directors of the British American Business Council of Orange County, Board of Directors of the Southern California Chapter of the United States Naval Academy Alumni Association, the Executive Board of his church, and current member and past president of the Kiwanis Club of Newport Beach/Corona del Mar.
Jeff is presently serving on the Board of the Veterans Legal Institute, a non-profit public interest law firm utilizing a pro bono model to exclusively serve low income veterans.
